US drug acquisition cost from CMS NADAC (National Average Drug Acquisition Cost,
US drug acquisition cost from CMS NADAC (National Average Drug Acquisition Cost, weekly): search by drug name (brand or generic, optional strength) or by NDC. Returns latest NADAC per unit, pricing unit (EA/ML/GM), effective date, generic vs brand, OTC flag and the corresponding generic price for brands. Names not found in NADAC descriptions are resolved to NDCs via the openFDA NDC directory. Pharmacy acquisition cost, not patient cash price. Not charged on errors.
Paid test badge: not yet. The checks above are free: we call the tool without paying and read the payment request it sends back. The Verified badge needs paid calls whose answers match the promised output, and nobody can buy a badge.
