Measured facts only. Nothing on this site comes from a provider's claim unless it is labelled as one.

Where the tools come from

The public x402 directory run by Coinbase (the Bazaar), read in full every day. The same endpoint listed twice is shown once. Two different endpoints that happen to share a name stay two tools.

The free daily check

A correct x402 tool, called without payment, answers with a payment request before doing any work. We send each tool its provider's own example input without paying, and record whether it answered, how long it took, and the price it asked. We compare that price with the price it lists. When the two differ, we say so on its page.

What we never call

Anything that sends messages, buys, moves money, deploys or files anything. Not even unpaid: a badly built server can act before it asks for payment. Those tools are listed, marked "not tested", and left alone.

The Verified badge

A tool is Verified when, in the last 7 days, we called it and paid at least 5 times, at least 80 in 100 calls succeeded, and the answers carried the fields it promises. Unstable means it answers but misses that bar. Paid testing starts when our testing wallet is live; until then every tool shows "not yet". Nobody can pay for a badge.

Open data

Every measurement is published daily at https://lucaintini.ai/toolassay/data/latest.json under CC BY 4.0. Use it anywhere, including in another market, as long as you credit ToolAssay.

Privacy

We count, we never track. No accounts, no cookies, no per-visitor history. The server keeps a short technical log for security and troubleshooting.
