Corrected count increment (CCI) after platelet transfusion: (post - pre platelet count per uL) * BSA_m2 / (dose in 10^11). Davis 1999 Transfusion. Returns CCI and the uncorrected increment only. Caller supplies BSA; magent does not compute Nadler BSA from height/weight, assay platelets, emit a 5000 or 7500 refractoriness cutoff, or order a transfusion. Davis 1999 cautions CCI/PPR can distort comparisons of platelet products.
