The WHOIS lookup for a domain, answered from the registry's own RDAP service
The WHOIS lookup for a domain, answered from the registry's own RDAP service - the structured successor to port-43 WHOIS, read live via the IANA bootstrap, never scraped WHOIS text. Registrar and IANA id, RDAP/EPP status codes, creation, update and expiry dates, nameservers, DNSSEC, days until expiry and the terms link. Registrant contacts are redacted by registries. Use when: Answer a WHOIS question about a domain - registrar, creation date, expiry, transfer lock - from the registry record.
Paid test badge: not yet. The checks above are free: we call the tool without paying and read the payment request it sends back. The Verified badge needs paid calls whose answers match the promised output, and nobody can buy a badge.
